Nirmala Zara

            Nirmala Zara is the youngest of the five children of Mr.William James Joseph and Mrs.Ponnachi Joseph.  Mr.William James was the son of Mr.J.Joseph the eldest son of Rev.J.Joshua the second Pastor of NAGERCOIL Home Church.  Ponnachi was the daughter of Mr.& Mrs.Ebenazer Pakkianathan of Tirunelvely.

William James went toCeylon at a very early age and settled there.  He married Ponnachi at Ceylon on 15th July, 1926.  They were blessed with four daughters, and a son named Joshua Nithiananthan who died when he was just two months old.  The other three elder sisters to Nirmala - Iris, Ivy and Indira - are settled in Ceylon, now known as Sri Lanka.

Nirmala was born on 4th October, 1936, in Ceylon and had her education there in Mowbray’s School, Colombo.  She left Ceylon during 1965 for higher studies in Economics  in London, England, and settled there.  There she worked in the Ministry of London Transport as an Executive.

She married Mr.Mac Kagzi who is a Chartered Accountant.  He works as a Tax Consultant in England.

They are now living in their own house at Edgware, Middlesex, London, England.
