	Sushith Samuel Raj was born on 15th February, 1966, as the elder son of Mr.John Manuel and Mrs.Jebamathy Manuel who are the great grand children of Rev.J.Joshua.  He had his schooling in the Scott Christian Higher Secondary, School, NAGERCOIL and secured his B.E.(Mechanical) Degree from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, in 1988.  He started his career as a Mechanical Engineer in the Texmo Industries, Coimbatore.  Later he joined as Purchase Officer in SIV Industries Ltd., Coimbatore.   Sushith married Mishmala daughter of Mr. P.Dharmaraj, advocate and Mrs.Sulochana Dharmaraj on 11th February, 1991.  She was born on 24th September, 1970 and had her schooling at the St.Joseph’s Convent, NAGERCOIL.  She secured her B.E.(Computer Science) Degree from Mepo Scheleuk  Engineering College, Sivakasi.She is now employed as a Lecturer in Suguna Polytechnic at Coimbatore.   They have a daughter - Rovina - born on 3rd September, 1993.  She is studying in the Stanes Higher Secondary School, Coimbatore.   The family is now settled in Coimbatore.
