Jaishith Jebakumar was born on 2nd April, 1970, as the youngest child of Mr.John Manuel and Mrs.Jebamathy Manuel who are the great grand children of Rev.J.Joshua.  He had his early education at Kanyakumari Public School and Scott Christian Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL.  He joined Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, in 1988 and got his M.B.B.S.Degree.  Then he was appointed as Medical Officer at Kanyakumari Medical Mission, Neyyoor.   He married Usha daughter of Mr.Henry Paul Samuel, (Marine Electrical Engineer) and Mrs.Loyce Samuel of Palayamcottai.  Usha had her schooling at Sarah Tucker School, and  took her B.A.(Lit.) Degree at Sarah Tucker Collelge, Palayamcottai. She secured her M.A.(English Literature) from Annamalai University. They have one daughter Riana, born on 10th July, 1999.   They are now living in their family house at Water Tank Road, NAGERCOIL.
