Albert Ebenezer Dulip was born on 26th November, 1964, in the Mission Hospital, NAGERCOIL.  He is the fifth and youngest son of Mr.David D.W.Daniels and Mrs.Grace Thilagavathy Daniels.  He had his primary education in the Morton English Primary School, NAGERCOIL and his middle, high and higher secondary education in the Carmel Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL.  Then he went to Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL, for his B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Phil. Degree Courses in Botany.  At present he is serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Botany, in the Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL.

 

Dulip is a highly talented person especially in music, sports and games.  He was the Madurai Kamaraj University Champion in Table Tennis in the year 1983 and has represented Kanyakumari District many times at State level tournaments.  He started playing the organ in the Home Church in 1983 at the age of 18 years.  Till date he is helping his father, the organist, as choir master & organist.

 

He kept very odd pets, such as snakes, lizards, birds, small mammals, fishes and dogs, cats, chickens and cows.  He is a lover of nature and often goes out into the forests to enjoy God’s marvelous creation.  On May 29th ,1995, he went to England to work in one of the most prestigious places in the world, the Natural History Museum, London for a period of 35 days on the small group of terrestrial plants, the Bryophytes.  Now he is working for his doctoral degree on the same group of plants.  He is very committed towards his work and any duty assigned to him.  He is the organist and choir master and also the co-staff adviser of the Rotaract Club of Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL.

 

Dulip married Sheeba, the eldest daughter of Mr.C.Rajappa, retired Sergeant in the Indian Air Force, and Mrs.Kanagam Rajappa of Kuttiparavilai, on 18th May, 1998.  She had her schooling in Delhi and Madras.  She took her B.A. Degree in English Literature in Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL, and now doing her M.A. in English Literature.

 

A very quiet and affectionate girl, she was loved by everyone in her class and the members of the staff.  She was first in the college in her academic work.

 

Dulip and Sheeba are blessed with a little boy Trevor, who was born on the 26th of August, 1999.  God has blessed them abundantly and they are a happy family.
