	Lily is the fourth daughter of Major G.Nelson and Mrs.Leela Nelson, the great grand daughter of Rev.J.Joshua, second Pastor of NAGERCOIL Home Church.  She had her schooling in the Home Church School and Duthie Girl’s Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL.  She completed the Pre University Course from the Women’s’ Christian College, NAGERCOIL and took her B.A.Degree from the Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL.  She also secured the Bachelor of Education Degree form the Madurai Kamaraj University.   Lily was given in marriage to Mr.Jaisingh Devasahayam son of Mr.D.J.Nelson and Mrs.Merriet Nelson of NAGERCOIL.  He had his schooling in the S.L.B.High School, NAGERCOIL.  After his Pre Degree Course he joined the Agricultural College at Coimbatore and took the Bachelor of Agriculture Degree.  Then he joined the Central Bank of India as an Agricultural Officer  and soon rose to the position of Manager.  Unfortunately he died at the age of 39 years and Lily and the two children were taken into the protective care of her parents.   They have two daughters named Renisha Pearl and Ferusha Pearl.  Renisha was given in marriage to Joe Winston and they are in Delhi now.  Ferusha took her primary education in the Seventh Day Adventist School, NAGERCOIL and had her higher secondary education in the Duthie Girl’s Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL.  She then joined the Women’s Christian College, NAGERCOIL and took her B.Com. Degree.  She joined the Scott Christian College, NAGERCOIL in 1999 for her M.Com. Degree Course.   She attends Church Services regularly at the Christ Church, NAGERCOIL, and takes part in all Church activities.  She is a teacher in the Sunday School conducted at the Christ Church, and a member of the Christian Endeavour.   Lily along with her daughter Ferusha is now living with her mother Mrs. Leela Nelson at Trowell Street, NAGERCOIL.
