	Daniel Devaprasath was born on 12th October, 1954, to Dr.N.D.Jeyasekharan and Mrs.Rani Jeyasekharan as the eldest child in the family.  He had his schooling in Scott Christian High School, NAGERCOIL and he did his Pre University Course in the Scott Christian College NAGERCOIL.  He took his M.B.B.S. Degree from the Christian Medical College, Vellore, and also the M.S.Degree in General Surgery from the same College.  He got FAMS (Urology) from Vienna University.  He is a very talented and eminent Surgeon.  Now he is working at Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital as Surgeon and Urologist.   Prasath married Renu on 3rd January, 1979.  Renu was born on 17th October, 1955.  After finishing her schooling at Welham Girl’s High School, Dehra Dun, Uttar Pradesh, she got her M.B.B.S. Degree from Christian Medical College, Vellore.  She also secured her D.A. from the same College.  She is a Diplomate of National Board (Dip.N.B) Anaesthesia.   Now she is working at Dr.Jeyasekharan Hospital as Anaesthesiologist.   They have two children named Jeyasekharan Anand and Rashmi.  Anand was born on 21st July, 1980.  After finishing his school education from CSI Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL, he joined the Christian Medical College Vellore.  He came first in the District in the H.S.S.C. Examination held in 1997.  Presently he is studying in the third year M.B.B.S. Course at the Christian Medical College, Vellore.  Rashmi the daughter was born on 17th June, 1984, and she is now studying in the XI th Standard at the CSI Matriculation Higher Secondary School, NAGERCOIL.   The family is now living in their own house at K.P.Road, NAGERCOIL.
