John Bertil Dhondy was the eldest son of Mr.Albert D.Edwards and Mrs.Jane
Edwards. Jane was the grand
daughter or Rev.J.Joshua, the second Pastor of NAGERCOIL Home Church. He started his education at the
Nilgiris and later continued it at Marthandam. He joined the Armed Services and
served there for some years.
Later he joined the Madras Government Service and retired as
Compost Development Inspector.
Dhondy married Dorothy daughter of Mr.Joshua who was serving as Pastor at
Attingal and Mrs.Lizzy Joshua on 27th December, 1960.
They have a daughter, Dinah who is married to Mr.K.I.Jesudhas of
NAGERCOIL. Dhondys are the
proud grand parents of Christina and Christopher the children of
Dinah. Dhondy Edwards and
Dorothy Dhondy are living in Marthandam in their own house.
