Youngest Son of JOHN JOSEPH the Third Son of SALOME the Second Daughter of REV.J.JOSHUA

Joshua      Salome      JohnJoseph William Jeyasingh     351 Salome Leela 3511 Vimala     3512 Sheila     3513 Subhala     3514 Lily     3515 Suresh     3516 Viola   352 John Sahaya Singh 3521 Christa Thuthilene   353 William Jeyasingh	William Jeyasingh affectionately called as “Willie” was born on 29th November, 1927, as the third Child of Mr.J.Joseph grand son of Rev.J.Joshua, and Mrs.Sophia Joseph.  He studied at the Mission institutions till he left forMadras where he was employed in T.T.K.Company  till his retirement.   He was a good reader of books and dailies.  He had a good collection of English novels, which attracted many friends.   He had good and regular habits and helped monetarily those needy persons who approached him for help.                         He was a bachelor and after his retirement lived with his only brother Mr.J.John Sahaya Singh and his family in their family house at Munro Street, NAGERCOIL. Soon he was afflicted with a stroke and was in bed for a few years.  Singh took it as his duty to take care of his brother who was in bed and did so till his death.  The sudden death of his brother Singh in 1993 was a shock to him and made him very sad and lonely, but the hospitality shown to him by his sister-in-law Vimala and niece Jeyanthy and her husband Anand made him happy and comfortable.  Though his relatives visited him often, the family owed much to Mr.Alos Roy who was a friend, companion and relative of Willie, who visited him regularly everyday and did whatever assistance he needed.               He passed away on 22nd August, 1995, and his funeral service was well attended by friends and relatives.
